Polygon Labs Prompts Node Operators to Upgrade Following Austin and Kyoto Hardforks

Polygon Labs has issued an urgent advisory urging all network node operators and validators to update their client binaries following the activation of the Austin and Kyoto hardforks. Operators running outdated software risk falling out of consensus with the canonical chain.

The completed hardforks implemented vital patches designed to mitigate potential block-stall vulnerabilities, peer-to-peer crash scenarios, and validator workload imbalances. Synchronizing node infrastructure is critical to maintaining high throughput and deterministic finality across the Polygon PoS network.
